Know the business
The useful overview.
The German storefront identifies its operator as Geiger Edelmetalle AG, domiciled in Rötha and registered at Leipzig under HRB 43929. This profile concerns that business and its manufacturing brand; another national sales channel may have a different contracting entity.[2]
Schloss Güldengossa, the castle represented on Geiger bars, was built in 1720. That is the building’s date, not a claim that the modern business has operated since then. The company describes a second historic setting at Espenhain: a former power-station control building adapted for production, logistics and management.[1]
The Geiger original Multicard example contains twenty-five separate 1 g silver bars, stated as .999 fine. Its square pieces carry the castle image and a repeating LEV reverse pattern. The product page describes a pearl-like surface, raised details, ribbed edges, UV-reactive reverse coating and individual security numbers. These are manufacturer-described features, not proof that an offered specimen is genuine.[5]
Noah’s Ark is an Armenian sovereign bullion-coin program, not a German state coin. The Central Bank of Armenia identifies itself as issuer and grants Geiger striking, advertising, marketing and sales rights. Its silver program uses .999 fineness and multiple weights. The sovereign issuer, private manufacturer and eventual retail seller therefore have different roles.[4]
Geiger also sells other producers’ bars, including Umicore, alongside its own products. Its silver catalog spans minted and cast forms and a broad range of weights. A Geiger shop listing alone does not establish that Geiger manufactured the item.[6]

How the story developed.
- 2008
Modern business founded
In LBMA’s company interview, director Oliver Heuschuch dates the business to 2008 and names Adalbert Geiger as founder. The account links the family’s earlier silverworking background to Schwäbisch Gmünd.[3]
- 2011–2012
Armenian silver program begins
The issuer dates the silver series to 2011–2012, without establishing that every present size existed at launch.[4]
- 2017
Square-bar series introduced
The Multicard product account dates the square Geiger original series to 2017.[5]
The current company page calls the business family-owned. Publicly verified beneficial-owner percentages were not established. Its reference to production through a sister company is not treated here as a verified current legal group chart.[1]
LBMA’s historical interview records affiliate membership. Affiliate membership must not be presented as a Good Delivery accreditation for every Geiger-branded bar.[3]
