Optional analytics, your choice.
Optional Analytics is staged but not activated. No Google Analytics tag, analytics cookie or event is created by this version, even if a prior browser preference exists.
You can use the site without accepting analytics. Use to review, reject or withdraw your choice. The site remembers a choice in this browser for up to 90 days. Clearing browser storage or using another browser resets that choice. Reject and accept are equally available.
What an accepted visit would share.
Collect Silver uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which published pages visitors read and to compare the site migration with its existing reporting history. After acceptance, Google receives the published page’s clean address and title, cookie-based identifiers, and basic browser/device and connection information. Query strings, address fragments, referring-page addresses, search terms, form values, names, email addresses, certificate numbers and personal collection records are not intentionally sent by this implementation.
Analytics uses cookies named _ga and _ga_07W2WHK7VS, requested with a maximum lifetime of 90 days without rolling renewal. Browser restrictions may shorten their lifetime. This is not a promise that analytics data is anonymous. Google processes connection information when the tag is loaded.
What stays off.
No Google Analytics tag or request, including a cookieless denied-state ping, is sent before an affirmative analytics choice. Advertising personalization, Google signals, user IDs and cross-domain measurement are not enabled by this code. Automatic form, search, outbound-link, download, scroll and video measurement must be disabled in the existing Google stream before activation. This site has no active email signup or contact form.
The site honors a Global Privacy Control signal by keeping its optional analytics off. Withdrawing consent disables further measurement and clears this stream’s accessible first-party Analytics cookies. A reload stops the previously loaded Google script. It does not erase data already received by Google.
Local settings and other services.
The analytics preference is stored locally as collect-silver.analytics-consent.v1; it is not itself sent to Google. Your chosen theme is also kept locally. The Silver Facts book saves only article identifiers for saved stories and your last place in this browser; its clear control removes them. These reading preferences are not sent to a server. Motion follows your system’s reduced-motion preference. Website hosting may process ordinary requests for delivery and security independently of optional analytics. External links open services with their own privacy practices. Shopping links may include the disclosed affiliate campaign.
Privacy questions and further details.
Contact Rich through the public contact links on this site for privacy questions. Google’s own notices explain its processing and safeguards: Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Before Analytics is activated, the owner must confirm the existing property’s retention, access, data-sharing and regional settings and approve the completed privacy notice. This candidate has not changed those account settings or verified incoming events.
